Car Rental Review- Enterprise Rent-a-Car Columbus Ohio Red Pontiac G6

I recently rented a car from Enterprise Rent-a-car to review on this site. I chose a Enterprise dealership in Columbus, Ohio. This location is on 2550 Scarborough Boulevard.

I made my reservation online through the Enterprise website. I used the online coupon banner for 50% Off Weekends. This process was fast and easy, as I had done this several times before. I entered my personal information and driver's license number to speed up the reservation process. My Friday through Sunday rental came to just over $20 a day for an intermediate size car.

When I went into the store that Friday, it was very busy. There were at least 4 customers waiting at the counter and all associates were occupied with other customers. I have found that Enterprise will typically have two or three employees working in a normal location. These employees are usually engaged in helping customers at the counter for a rental or return, moving a car or prepping it for a customer, or transporter a customer to or from the store. Enterprise " will pick you up" from your home, car dealer, body shop, or wherever you happen to be.

The wait was not very long and soon an employee named Justin took care of my reservation. This was the second time I have dealt with Justin. He was very professional and did a great job. I was pleased to find they had a red 2008 Pontiac G6 for me. The last time I was stuck with a Chevy HHR, which is a terrible terrible vehicle. The HHR was the most uncomfortable car with the worst seats I had even been in. My back hurt after driving for 20 minutes. To add insult to my back injury, I paid a premium for a "full size" car that barely sat 2 adults and 2 children- and not comfortably at all.

The Pontiac G6, on the other hand, was very comfortable and allowed me to drive over 500 miles without any aches. I drove through the mountains in the snow, on flat plains and everywhere in between. The ride was quiet and comfortable and the car handled well. When I rent cars or drive a car in general, I am looking for something safe, comfortable, and reliable. This car fit the bill nicely. I made it there and back on Monday without any trouble.

I have rented cars from Enterprise for 5-6 years now. I have always been happy, with the exception of a couple lousy cars. I don't think there is much they can do about that. I always select a vehicle type by category and they usually have one or two new cars ( 1-2 model years old) at the store when you go there. I have been very pleased with the Columbus Ohio Enterprise on Scarborough. I have rented from this location four times. I was impressed with Justin, as he remembered where I was from and how I planned to use the car. He also knew what levels of insurance I carry and the type of damage waiver I preferred. Knowing that I am self-employed, he discussed the business rental program with me. When I returned the car I was asked to give him a rating on a scale of 1-10 and I said "10."

Overall I find the Enterprise Weekend Car Rental Special a very good deal for renting cars. To save even more money, opt for the smaller "Intermediate" category over the Full Size car. I have rented a Pontiac G6 twice and found it to be an excellent deal for its category. I recommend passing on the Chevrolet HHR and similar vehicles.

Saving on Car Rentals with Online Discounts

Most of the major car rental companies offer many specials, like half-off weekends and free upgrades. Like a lot of services many people do not get the discounts unless they find coupons or know someone who can help them out. Fortunately these car rental places offer many online discount codes coupons and banners. This site will be updated sporadically as we receive new information regarding car rental specials.
